School Incursions
Bringing the Farm to Your Classroom!
School Excursions
The Green Thumb School Incursion Program is designed to bring the magic of our organic community farm directly into your classroom!
Led by qualified, passionate educators, this unique experience connects students with the food they eat through fun, interactive, and curriculum-aligned activities.
During the incursion, our qualified facilitators will facilitate:
- Interactive and engaging activities
- Seed-to-plate education
- Sensory experiences with fresh produce fresh from the farm
- Curriculum-aligned sessions for all primary year levels

Our school incursion cancellation policy requires schools to provide a written notice of cancellation at least 14 days before the scheduled incursion date to receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 7 to 13 days prior to the incursion will incur a 50% cancellation fee. Unfortunately, no refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 7 days before the excursion. Exceptions to this policy may be considered in cases of extreme weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances at the discretion of the administration. We reserve the right to cancel the excursion if conditions are deemed unsafe, with a full refund provided.

In 2025, we are launching a dedicated school garden area which means you can bring your class for regular visits to the farm over a term or we can develop a customised program for your school.
