Support from the City of Moreton Bay continues to play an important role in strengthening Green Thumb Farm. Current funding through Activities Grants is helping us deliver our Gather & Grow workshop series and progress key capacity-building initiatives across our operational systems. In addition, a recent Support Grant has enabled us to purchase essential materials and equipment needed to maintain a safe, productive, and welcoming community farm. We are sincerely grateful for this assistance and the positive impact it has on our programs and community engagement.
Support from the Samford Edible Garden Trail has been invaluable in helping establish Green Thumb Farm and laying the foundations for our education program. Their recent $4,000 contribution is now supporting the development of our new schools garden, strengthening our capacity to deliver hands-on learning experiences for local students. We are deeply grateful for their continued generosity and belief in our educational mission.
Support from the Samford Community Bank has contributed to the establishment of our irrigation system and enabled us to purchase equipment for our schools program, including a shade marquee for school groups, rugs, and a native beehive. We are deeply grateful for their generous support, which has played a crucial role in enhancing our educational initiatives and facilities.
