Our volunteers are the heart of Green Thumb Farm. By committing your time — even just a few hours a month — you help us grow more food, run our community programs, and keep our farm thriving. In return, you’ll enjoy great perks, meaningful experiences, and the satisfaction of making a real impact.
📅 How Often Can I Volunteer?
We ask our regular volunteers to commit to coming weekly, fortnightly, or monthly, so we can provide proper training and count on you as part of our small team. You choose the day that suits you — Tuesday, Wednesday or Saturday mornings.

How to Join:
Come along at 9am on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Saturday for a safety induction. Then select your preferred team and regular garden day (weekly, fortnightly, or monthly).

Be part of the buzz every Saturday at our farmgate market. From setting up stalls to helping customers, there’s a role for everyone.

Not ready to commit regularly? That’s okay! Join our Farmer for a Day program and spend a single session helping out on the farm. It’s a great intro to what we do and a fun day out.
