The Early Years Excursion at Green Thumb Farm is a story and play based experience for children between 3 and 5 year old.

Booking an Excursion to the Green Thumb Farm is simple:

Excursion Details at a Glance:

Who: Children aged 3–5 years. Perfect for kindergartens, early learning centres & play-based programs!
When: Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays, 10am to 1pm (3 hours). Start time can be adjusted to suit your needs.
Price: $550 + GST per session (up to 25 children). Additional children $15 each, up to maximum of 30. Price includes:
- Activities facilitated by a professional educator
- All materials used
- Pre and post excursion activity ideas and resources
- Fresh produce and a farm gift for your team to take home
Where: At Green Thumb Farm: 2204 Mt Samson Rd, Samford Valley, Qld, 4520. Free parking for cars and buses onsite.

Being able to explore and engage with the workings of the farm

What to Bring?

Children and adults will need to bring with them

Enclosed shoes suitable for walking around the farm on uneven surfaces
Sun hat, sunscreen and insect repellent
Wet weather jacket if rain is forecast
Sun smart clothing
Water bottles, morning tea and lunch
Other items that may be needed for individuals such as medication

Booking & Payment Information:

To secure your preferred date, use the calendar below and inform:

1. Number of children (base group): Enter how many children will participate in the field “Groups from 15 to 25”. The base package is $550 and covers up to 25 children.

2. Additional children: If your group has more than 25 children (up to a maximum of 30), enter the number of extra children in the field “Child”. A fee of $15 per additional child applies.

3. Confirm booking: Press the BOOK NOW button and complete the form.

No payment is required at this step. An invoice will be issued after your incursion, based on your total number of participants.

Unfortunately, no refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 7 days before the excursion. Exceptions to this policy may be considered in cases of extreme weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances at the discretion of the administration. We reserve the right to cancel the excursion if conditions are deemed unsafe, with a full refund provided.
