Our Early Learning Programs are story-based, designed to inspire curiosity and wonder. Designed for children aged 3–5 years, it's perfect for kindergartens, early learning centres & play-based programs!
Guided by experienced and qualified Farm Educators, kids will connect with nature through playful, hands-on learning, explore how food grows, develop confidence, curiosity, and care for living things, and discover the magic of compost, worms, seeds, and soil!

A Morning at the Farm
Early Learning Excursions
Location: Green Thumb Farm. 2204 Mt Samson Rd, Samford Valley
Price: $550 + GST per session
Capacity: Up to 25 students (Max 30; $15/extra child)
Audience: Children aged 3–5 years.
Duration: 10 am - 1pm. Start time can be adjusted to suit your needs.
Availability: Thursdays & Fridays

We Bring the Farm to You
Early Learning Incursions
Location: At your Early Learning Centre in Moreton Bay or Brisbane
Price: $550 + GST per session
Capacity: Up to 25 students (Max 30; $15/extra child)
Audience: Children aged 3–5 years.
Duration: 45min - 60 min. Start time can be adjusted to suit your needs.
Availability: Wednesdays
Back-to-back sessions: 2nd session only $150 + GST.

Our Early Learning Centre Excursion Program is a story-based, hands-on exploration with nature, designed to inspire curiosity and wonder.
Guided by passionate and qualified Farm Educators, kids will experience:
- A story theme that is interwoven into the day with lots of active participation
- Being able to explore and engage with the workings of the farm
- Play based experiences
- Take-home activity that invites growing at home
- Building upon knowledge of growing edible foods
- Building upon knowledge of sustainable practices
Our Farm Educators create a flexible learning environment that adapts to the needs of each student group, making every visit unique and impactful.

Early Learning Incursions
Our incursion is all about helping children build a real connection to where their food comes from, encouraging healthier choices, environmental awareness, and a sense of wonder. Our experienced educators will lead a 60-minute interactive session. During your booking, choose which topic you want us to explore:
🪱 Wiggly Worm Farm Discovery: Worms are the wriggly heroes of the garden! In this hands-on session, children explore how worms help grow healthy plants by turning food scraps into rich compost. Includes:
- Fun interactive story: Wiggly the Worm Saves the Garden
- Live worm exploration: touch and observe compost worms
- “Feed the Worms” game: learn what worms can (and can’t!) eat
- Take-home activity sheet & colouring-in page
🌱 Seed-to-Plate: Planting Edible Pots: This sensory-rich activity helps children connect with where their food comes from. Children explore real herbs and plant their very own edible seedling to take home. Includes:
- Fun interactive story: Tilly the Tiny Seed
- Guided herb smelling & touching session (mint, basil, parsley...)
- Each child plants an easy to grow seed
- Take-home tip sheet & colouring in page
