Celebrating Seasonal, Locally Grown Food
Green Thumb Farm is a vibrant community farm and nursery, showcasing the best of locally grown fruit, vegetables, herbs, and flowers.
Nestled in the scenic Moreton Bay region, the farm is dedicated to regenerative agriculture, seasonal eating, and reconnecting people with the joy of growing and enjoying fresh, local produce.
From Saturday March 1st, Green Thumb Farm will once again come alive with its Farm Gate Market, where visitors can purchase fresh-cut flowers, organic fruit, vegetables, and herbs. The market also features local vendors offering handcrafted soaps, artisan products, organic sourdough, and, of course, freshly brewed coffee. It’s the perfect place to connect with local growers, wander the farm with a coffee in hand, and let the kids play in our dedicated Little Green Thumbs area. Weekly Farm Tours starting soon!
During the week, Green Thumb Farm also offers tailored experiences for school groups, families, and corporate teams looking for meaningful, hands-on learning and volunteering opportunities. With a strong focus on education, sustainability, and community, it’s an inspiring destination for anyone passionate about food, nature, and wellbeing.
Just 35 minutes from Brisbane’s CBD, the farm offers free on-site parking and is located within Samford Parklands, a short drive from Samford Village, where visitors can explore local shops and cafés. Escape the city and experience the beauty of farm life at Green Thumb Farm.
